🔷 Job Description
As FORGESAN continues to expand in global markets, we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who can combine engineering knowledge with commercial insight to drive business growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding customer technical requirements, preparing competitive quotations, and converting opportunities into long-term business partnerships. You will act as a key bridge between customers, engineering, and production teams.
🔷 Key Responsibilities
Analyze technical drawings and customer requirements
Prepare cost-effective and competitive quotations
Communicate with international customers regarding technical and commercial topics
Support RFQ processes from initial request to order confirmation
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to customer acquisition
Collaborate with production and engineering teams for feasibility analysis
Optimize product designs for manufacturability (DFM approach)
Track quotations and follow up to increase conversion rates
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
🔷 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, costing, or manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, welding, machining, etc.)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Commercial mindset with technical understanding
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)

Experience in sheet metal or automotive industry
Knowledge of costing and quotation processes
Familiarity with ERP / CRM systems
Experience working with international customers
German or French language is a plus
